First of all, it was a complete accident that I did this. It wasn’t like I pre-planned it as an experiment… etc… I just happened to get lazy for a freaking WEEK. I know gross. Don’t worry y’all. I did take showers. But seriously, after 3 days, I felt really good about my hair. I will tell you about the process, how I styled my hair, and what my favorite hair products were.
Day 1: On day one, I just washed my hair and let it dry out naturally, I didn’t do anything to it because I was running late. Easy right?
Day 2: I was going out and styled my hair, little did I know I was styling my hair like this for the rest of the week. All I did was curl my hair with a straightener, the goal was to create loose waves, so I would just give my hair a tug after curling it. (I tried finding a YouTube tutorial, but couldn’t find it.)
Day 4: This was a repeat of Day 3, except I curled my hair on the strands that lost its buoyancy.
Day 5: Again, a repeat of day 4. This time, I accidentally applied the Dove Dry Spray Antiperspirant. I did not realize it until the scent started to smell like my dry deodorant. I panicked for a quick second, but I realized that this actually gave more texture to my hair and it didn’t really cause any harm…
Day 6: Repeat of Day 4.
Day 7: Wash! With my favorite purple shampoo: Shimmer Lights and I conditioned with L’Oreal Paris Hair Expert Color Vibrancy Intensive Post Color Repair Mask.
