Its’s Christmas Eveeeee!
Most of y’all will celebrate with their family by having a nice dinner and open gifts on Christmas Day. Nope, not my family. We will have a really really late dinner, hit a piñata, play loteria, countdown to 12 AM, hug like it’s New Years, then were going to tear open our presents. Then of course, recalentado on Christmas Day. Totally Mexican style.
To be even more real with y’all, my Christmas Eve is not as ideal as most years have been. I’ll be working probably until 5 PM, and I’ve yet to finish wrapping, scratch that, I’ve yet to even BEGIN wrapping my gifts. It’s so bad, that my contribution the the Christmas tree is literally an Amazon box with the slit cut open in the middle. Boyfriend works Saturday and Sunday, so I guess we will see what this year holds.
Along with this Christmas being so unconventional, of course, Houston weather had to be so too. The weather will be around 60 to 70 degrees throughout both days and it will be cloudy. It isn’t exactly what I planned for, but hey, I’ll be wearing a dress that literally will be perfect for the weather and the holiday. The dress from Anthro is another Wendy classic. I love dresses that are so easy to wear, yet can be dressed up. A denim jacket is perfect for the cold indoor haha. If you love it, I recommend sizing down, from what I heard. (Although, it was true to size to me.)
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone! Enjoy this little weekend of break and be safe!
