Hello everyone,
Did you have a good weekend? I sure did. On Friday, I went to my favorite raspa place. And Saturday was quite eventful, mostly because Matt and I were having car troubles, so half our day was pretty much gone. But all was good in the neighborhood. Sunday involved A LOT of eating; my stomach was in pain from all the food I consumed.
Showing off my back was one of my favorite things as a teenager. Therefore, open-back tops were a staple in my closet. As I got older, I would find imperfections in my body which would make me get clothes that covered the insecure areas I had. Not too long ago, I decided on trying on this Free People top for old times sake, and I fell in love! I was super scared to wear this top, knowing I had a teeny back fat, or as my dad would call it, llantita.I decided that I liked the gingham top too much to let it go, so I took it home with me.
This top posed a different problem… Size D boobs in fact. How in the world am I going to make this top flattering WITHOUT wearing a bra? After searching high and low, I knew that Dillards had the solution for this dilemma. I got a NuBra! And seriously, it is sorcery. You can wear this bra for any strapless attire.
Also, My sunglasses are from Zaful! I love them sooo much!
Styling this outfit was way too easy. I wanted to create multiple textures. So I got a wide-leg to pair the flared halter. Every time I wear wide-legs, I am for sure to wear wedges or some kind of chunky heels. During the colder seasons, any high ankle boot will do though. I feel like gingham, especially black, goes well with a pop of red. So I accessorized with a bright red clutch. And that is that!
