You know when you’re shopping and find a top that needs to live in your closet, but wait! Your size is gone. Isn’t that frustrating? At first, you thank the Lord for such an amazing price, then fall on your knees to SOMEHOW pull it off in the fitting room? Haha, ok, well it doesn’t happen exactly like that, but you know what I mean.
I was at Beehive Boutique, and I found this top. I was in love y’all. I love the material, and the color is amazing! (Tries to insert a relevant Pantone 2017 sentence here, but fails… loll) Usually, I’m not good at finding skirts, or wearing them “right.” Maybe it’s because I’m petite, or because I have chicken legs… idk really… they are not my favorite bottoms. Now that I think about it, I’m a sucker for denim, like really good denim. Since I’m trying to explore my style a bit more, I did go ahead and try a line skirt with the post. What do you think???
Back to my story. Well, I searched high and low for a size small, yet the most relevant size available was a medium. What happens here? You give up and cry your way home? no… My number one tip is to knot it on the side and wear it with a high-waisted bottom, in this case, a skirt! You can do this with literally any top that is one size larger. Try it. Let me know how you like to style your oversize top!
Oh yea… it was about 20 degrees out when Matt and I shot. It was pretty cold af.
Check out Beehive Boutique to get amazing stuff for Spring! They also have an AMAZING sale.
