I decided to combine two days in one because on day 3 we spent a good part of the evening with my family and the last day was driving back to our hometown- the H! For day one click here and day two here.
Shoutout to Mazda for sponsoring an amazing vehicle for our trip. Without Mazda, none of this would have taken place.
Runyon Canyon
Matt and I woke up at the peak before dawn to hike Runyon Canyon. Tip- arrive there right before the sun rises or take an Uber, parking is limited to 5 cars and you can barely find it. For more information, click here.
Matt took me here for a yummy lunch. We both had the Chimichurri Steak. No regrets, except it had a flower in the salad as a garnish, and I ate it, that was not too great… note to self- do not eat flowers.
This place lives along the west side of the USA and I SOOO wish they had a location down here. Gosh, it is mouth watering just thinking about the Cruffin that Matt and I had. (We may have had more than 1…
This is a classic. One of Matt’s favorite places to go.
Venice
Take a cool picture, stroll down the street of Abbott Kinney, hang out at the beach, or watch the skaters. Seriously, so much to do here.
I think this is also an LA classic. We walked over to APC and Glossier (which wasn’t opening for a couple of days) too.
