Matt turned 26 on March 10 and (now that we are married) we escaped to Nashville, Tennesse! Y’all know Matt plans all of our trips, but since it was his birthday, I decided it was my responsibility to take the lead this time. It was a bit stressful… not going to lie. So I did my research, ahem, contacted anyone who lived, or lives in Nashville! I didn’t realize we knew a lot of people in the city until I started asking around. This lead to many AMAZING spots and nooks that lead me to love and appreciate the city.
So I’m going to be honest, all we really did was eat and we may have gone to the most Nashvilley places, per my liking. Let me know if you have been, or would like to go!
Our trip was made thanks to Mazda! We drove the 2019 CX-5. Every Mazda that we drive, we always feel safe and super comfortable. One of the newest feature, the Apple CarPlay, is the best thing that has happened to any driver. With CarPlay, you do not have to pick up your phone at all! We really took advantage of the feature, especially when it came to getting directions or receiving text messages (Siri will read your text messages).
Stay Golden – coffee, cocktails, and good food. We had, what I discovered, coffee cocktails. If you want to get a good view of the city, this is your place.
Biscuit Love – I believe this is a Nashville staple. There are two locations, be sure to check which spot is less busy! Check this place out if you are ready to have an amazing brunch. Oh! Don’t forget to order bonuts.
Henrietta Red – cutest brunch spot. The customer service here is divine. For all the foodies, Henrietta Red was nominated for a James Beard Award in 2018. *** making a reservation is recommended, but if you don’t have one, they will gladly seat you in their bar area.
Crema – I’m not much of a coffee person, but this place has good “vibes” and really delicious snacks. Matt says the coffee is great!
Part two will come in the future, it was way too much to add to one post haha.
