Happy Valentine’s Day!
My Valentine’s Day tribute- Matt flew me out to San Fran for my Valentine’s Day gift and we celebrated the holiday little early. We went to Big Sur and had a lot of fancy food. Random takeaway- I did miss Houston a lot, but when I got back home, I forgot how FLAT our city is. If you’re thinking, “seriously, this is all she is going to tell us?” Don’t worry, I will post a part 1 and 2 of our adventures.
Ok, let’s talk about transition pieces.
One of the hardest things to do is wearing your winter clothes as transitional pieces for spring. Things I like to transition from winter to spring: sweaters (light ones), cardigans, leggings, and probably joggers. The idea I get is wearing items that are easy to transition, I can’t do this with my faux fur jacket, or coat. It’s hard to get creative, but when I think transitional pieces, I think of peeling off the heavy stuff. For example, this sweater, from Tobi, is perfect to wear during the winter season, duh, but it can roll over as a spring dress too! Most of my sweater tunics are worn as a half tuck with jeans or leggings during the winter. So wearing them without bottoms, as a dress, is an easy transition. I added the scarf for a headpiece, I think it brightened my outfit just a tad.
Now it’s your turn… Do you transition any winter pieces into spring?
