Shopping at Walmart has been in the back of my mind for a minute. I’ve seen bloggers talk about it so much, that I finally gave in. My thoughts? Walmart is the new Target 🙂
I chose to go to the Walmart in Sugarland, I figured it would have a bigger variety and options, I need to go to my local store to prove that theory. When I went, I mentally reminded myself to be patient and to have a vision of what I wanted. For example, I have really been wanting a leopard dress and not spend a fortune (mostly because it’s actually a trendy piece that, who knows, may be out of style in a year or two). I actually went through the aisles two or three times. Yikes.
*** Something to note – 1. I ended up noticing that smaller sizes were not available. 2. For those of you who don’t want to try on the clothes in the fitting rooms, I would say that the clothes are true to size if not, a bit big.
On to the shoot —
Can I tell you I wore this dress in less than 45 degree weather? What. Is. Life.
I paired up my dress with my new favorite shoes, my Docs, some barrettes, and green drop earrings. I bought an emergency scarf and crew socks from Target the day before my trip and THEY CAME IN CLUTCH. The only thing I took for warmth was my oversized denim jacket, which didn’t help with the cold, but my body went numb after a few minutes so it technically didn’t matter…
We went to the Rose Garden for this shoot. Highly recommend for those who would like to spend a day getting lost in this beautiful park. OH yes, almost forgot – our trip to Portland will be on the blog v soon!
